New pattern: Sweet Honey Shawl
I'm happy this week to finally show off the Sweet Honey Shawl, designed for Quince & Co using their very soft Chickadee yarn.
The shawl uses the lovely Honeybee stitch and has a scalloped edge to complete the vintage look. There are two sizes in the pattern, using either 3 or 5 skeins of Chickadee (see Ravelry page for more info). The version shown is the smaller shawlette size, worked in the color "Honey" (of course!).

My health continues to be up and down the last several weeks. I wish it were more stable. Recently I've had more testing to try to find a reason for the strange muscle weakness. So far nothing specific has been found. It's quite frustrating to have mysterious symptoms that are so debilitating, yet without clear cause. On the other hand I am relieved that I do not have something like lupus or multiple sclerosis that is life-long with no cure. Overall I seem to have a gradual improvement, but it's happening over the span of years. Yes, years. I guess yearly improvement is much better than none at all.
A very lovely shawl. I do like Quince yarns (a lot!) This should make up to be just wonderful. I love my Princes Kate shawl you designed and wore it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are not feeling well, and know it must be frustrating.
