New pattern and a giveaway by luvinthemommyhood

The third pattern of the Archi-Textural collection is now available for purchase on Ravelry.   Stucco is a top-down crescent shawl with a ridged body and lovely shell-stitch border.  I think the stitch pattern looks great in neutrals, reminiscent of the plaster used in actual stucco work.

This beautiful gray was dyed by Mira from Baah! yarns, on her dk-weight base Sonoma (as of now, only available in select yarn stores of southern California.  Please contact Mira via Ravelry for more information).  The pattern is written for dk or worsted weight, but any weight yarn will do.

I'm also excited to announce that Shannon of luvinthemommyhood is sponsoring a giveaway of the Be Mine Collection on her amazing blog. There are three copies to be given away, and all you need to do is follow the instructions in her post to enter.

Shannon’s blog is full of inspiring and beautiful knitting, sewing, and quilting, and I’m so happy to team up with her! While you’re visiting her site, be sure to check out her patterns and free tutorials.  I love this little coat and dress and am planning to make them for my niece.
