(In case you were wondering, this should be the last post with a lame Kat pun title.)
The final version of CopyKat Shawls is now available, and I think it's just swell. There are 3 different stitch patterns to choose from, and the test knitters did a fantastic job.
This lovely green one was knit with the Parallelogram Check stitch in madelinetosh pashmina, color Boxwood, by my trusty knitting machine, er, I mean friend, haramis. Photos by wovenhand.
And this beautiful complex brown shawl used the Crossed Stitch option, knit in The Woolen Rabbit Opulence, a decadent sport-weight merino/silk blend. The shawl was stitched and photographed by sabinaknits. I actually think her version is more beautiful than the original royal shawl!
The third stitch pattern is the Diagonal Rib, which actually looks interesting on both sides. This swatch was knit by wovenhand with Quince and Co. Chickadee in Marsh.
With several choices, you might have to make more than one!
